Match 12, Chennai

CSK make it three wins from three, but boy were they made to work for it. With the bat, MS Dhoni's innings rolled back the years, while Dwayne Bravo's nous proved to be vital in fighting off a Stokes-Archer comeback. A big word for Imran Tahir too, who got the ball to turn plenty even with lots of dew about. Thanks for your company this weekend, and we'll see you tomorrow for KXIP v DC.

MoM: MS Dhoni

Dhoni: "We wanted to get a partnership going, it was needed at the time, we knew there'd be dew. Bhaji missed the match because there were quite a few right handers. Just hoping the batsmen can keep performing and bowlers can improve as the tournament progresses, which tends to happen in the IPL. It was very difficult for the finger spinners with the dew, but we were able to rotate, the legspinner bowled really well, as a wrist spinner with the dew, Tahir did really well."

Rahane: "Disappointed, we started off well, overall what cost us were the last five overs. Even batting, with the dew the target was chaseable. We need to win smaller moments, we've been playing good cricket, some luck with us can change the tide."
