Qualifier 2, Kolkata

Sunrisers are in the IPL Final to meet CSK. The magician Rashid Khan did his thing again! At one stage, KKR looked to be cruising, both in the field and with the bat. But Rashid Khan changed all that. First, he smashed the ball to all parts, before being involved in the run out of Rana. Not content with that, he took catches that were necessary and was brilliant with the ball. A great campaign for KKR, but they just didn't have enough to get over the line. See you on Sunday for the Final! BYE!

MoM: Rashid Khan

Williamson: "The game could of gone either way, but it was nice to fall our way. KKR are a very good team. We knew if we could hold strong and squeeze in the middle overs, we could come out on top. Rashid was brilliant, we have to keep him wrapped up ahead of the Final. It is important we move on now and focus on the Final. As a team we fight to the very last ball and we showed that again tonight. It was a real time effort, Rashid was certainly the man of the match but it was a real team performance tonight."

Karthik: "We played a good tournament but to finish on the losing side does not feel great. A couple of bad shots changed the balance of the game. We can take lots of positives and a lot of youngsters have been given a great chance this year"

Sunrisers Hyderabad win by 14 runs

End of Over 20 - 4 runs, 2 wickets KKR 160/9

Pitch invasion time! Sunrisers win!

19.6 C Brathwaite to K Yadav, no run, 137.41 km/h full length just outside off stump.
19.5 C Brathwaite to K Yadav, no run, 138.05 km/h full toss outside off stump.

Dot ball! SRH are through to the Final barring mishaps!

19.4 C Brathwaite to K Yadav, no run, 137.67 km/h full toss outside off stump.

Wicket! That will be that! Rashid has another catch. Brathwaite has another wicket. Gill tried to go miles over deep mid-wicket, but just didn't have the legs

19.3 C Brathwaite to S Gill, WICKET!!! S Gill is out c Rashid Khan b Carlos Brathwaite, 128.01 km/h full length on leg stump.

Wicket! Taken by Rashid in the deep, but Gill is back on strike. Probably a blessing for KKR. It's now down to fingernails!

19.2 C Brathwaite to S Mavi, WICKET!!! S Mavi is out c Rashid Khan b Carlos Brathwaite, 140.88 km/h full length going down leg.

Four! Crashed over point. Brathwaite had the right idea going full and wide, but Mavi had read it and smashes a much needed boundary

19.1 C Brathwaite to S Mavi, FOUR, 140.79 km/h full length outside off stump.

So it will be Carlos Brathwaite to bowl. 19 required.

End of Over 19 - 11 runs, 1 wicket KKR 156/7
Shubman Gill30* (19b 2x4 1x6)
Shivam Mavi*2* (2b)

Six! Hold the phone! Smashed over long off. SRH won't mind that too much, as Mavi is on strike

18.6 S Kaul to S Gill, SIX, 141.01 km/h full length outside off stump.
18.5 S Kaul to S Gill, two runs, 138.0 km/h full length just outside off stump.

Another single. It's going to require last over heroics

18.4 S Kaul to S Mavi, one run, 139.22 km/h full length just outside off stump.

Only a single. Time running out for KKR

18.3 S Kaul to S Gill, one run, 140.06 km/h full toss just outside off stump.

Just a single. All down to Gill. 29 from 10. Gill would have been miles out had Williamson hit from his direct throw

18.2 S Kaul to S Mavi, one run, 137.09 km/h full toss on middle stump.

Wicket! Off stump is marmalised! Full from Kaul, Chawla looks to swing over cover but is bowled. SRH edging ever nearer

18.1 S Kaul to P Chawla, WICKET!!! P Chawla is out b Siddarth Kaul, 140.61 km/h full length on off stump.

30 required from 12. Who will bowl the all important 19th? It's going to be Kaul. A wicket now would surely kill the game off.

End of Over 18 - 9 runs KKR 145/6
Shubman Gill21* (16b 2x4)
Piyush Chawla*12* (11b 1x6)

Four! Is this the glimmer of hope KKR need? Full from Bhuvi and it's smashed back down the ground

17.6 B Kumar to S Gill, FOUR, 140.24 km/h full length outside off stump.
17.5 B Kumar to P Chawla, one run, 138.96 km/h full toss outside off stump.
17.4 B Kumar to S Gill, one run, 138.16 km/h full toss going down leg.
17.3 B Kumar to P Chawla, one run, 134.05 km/h full length going down leg.
17.2 B Kumar to S Gill, one run, 140.17 km/h full length on off stump.
17.1 B Kumar to P Chawla, one run, 134.18 km/h full toss on off stump.

Tremendous over by Kaul. Kumar to bowl the 18th. Williamson not making the same mistake as the other night.

End of Over 17 - 4 runs KKR 136/6
Piyush Chawla*9* (8b 1x6)
Shubman Gill15* (13b 1x4)
16.6 S Kaul to P Chawla, one run, 137.57 km/h full toss on off stump.
16.5 S Kaul to S Gill, one run, 139.69 km/h full toss on off stump.
16.4 S Kaul to S Gill, no run, 139.59 km/h full toss just outside off stump.
16.3 S Kaul to P Chawla, one run, 138.66 km/h good length on leg stump.
16.2 S Kaul to P Chawla, no run, 135.64 km/h short length just outside off stump.
16.1 S Kaul to S Gill, one run, 137.05 km/h full length going down leg.

Time for the timeout and time is running out for KKR. SRH's spinners have done their job and more. Chawla and Gill do have the capability to hit a long ball, but is the target too stiff?
