Final, Bengaluru

Sunrisers Hyderabad celebrate with the IPL trophy.

Well that, ladies and gentlemen, is how we do that! We have seen it all at this VIVO IPL 2016 - enough Vitara Brezza Glam Shots that we should produce a pop-up picture book. There's been unbelievable catches, both one handed and duo combos. We've seen sitters been dropped that you have probably thought your grandmother could take. We've seen Yorkers that not even the greatest batsmen of all time could fend off and sixes big enough that given the mood could have ended up in another city.

Sunrisers Hyderabad are champions and they will now party on long into the night. Spare a thought for RCB – they’ve had a great tournament, but it was just too many runs to chase in the Final. And what a Final it was. Thank you so, so much if you've stayed with us for every ball of this competition. Through the rain, the sunshine and the Gayle Storms, we've had an absolute blast. We've had one sided traffic and nailbiters that have meant so many of you needed a pedicure! And now it’s over. I'm not sure how we're all going to get over this comedown, but I hope you can all look back at what a special 60 games this has been. You the fans have helped make this tournament and, until the next time, it’s good night from me. Be safe, have fun, and see you soon kids!

Warner: "Fantastic team achievement. To lead this side and the support from the players, me pulling my weight with the runs, it has been a hard journey. It's a team effort. To have the perfect game, we need to gel. For us, the key was team effort all the way. Look we knew, we had to get 200. Virat Kohli, what a great leader! I can't take it away from him. He set the benchmark this season. We knew we had to win three straight games. To win in Bangalore, we were underdogs. But, we batted well, bowled well, and fielded well. In 24 hours, I will be off to the Caribbean. Time to have a beer."

Kohli: "It does not feel good to be at the other side of the result. Why Sunrisers won is because they have a strong bowling attack. I knew I was hitting the ball well and I just wanted to keep contributing. [On four hundreds] I surprised myself there. I opened the innings, someone batting at No.3 or No.4 may not have scored much."

"We are proud of the way we played as a team. This was for the people of Bangalore. Even when we hard the worst seasons, they were there for us. I was gutted; we couldn't cross the line. Dan mentioned to me while thanking the crowd: we scored 200 and lost. Me and AB getting out quickly was a big blow. Had I stayed with AB, we could have finished it. I just want to congratulate the Sunrisers. They deserved to win."

MoM: Ben Cutting

"It was exciting to play in front of a big crowd. David Warner has set it up, like he has done all season. We won't be standing here, if not for Davey. Bhuvi with the purple cap has been fantastic all season. That's the thing about Bangalore. You can go the journey as the batsman and bowler."

Muralitharan: "Nobody thought we would win when we started the tournament. We worked very hard. Every game was tough for us. We regrouped and won."

Henriques: [On IPL] "It’s taxing, a lot of cricket being played, you make a new bunch of friends, we call it the Sunrisers family and you become friends for life, when you win a tournament like that it’s such good fun, especially when you’re playing with so many international players."

Yuvraj: "It’s great to win the IPL trophy, Gayle was going strong but once we got a few wickets our death bowlers bowled very well. Bhuvi and Fizz, great finish at the end."

B Kumar: "I tried to keep myself composed and knew if I got it right they wouldn’t get the runs. In this game I know that if you get the Yorkers it’s the best way to short runs in the death overs."

Dhawan: "It’s been a great season for me and my side and Davey led it from the front from the first game so hats of to him and hats off to all the boys and those who have supported us. It’s been amazing and been a great journey."

Four! Flicked down to fine leg but it won't matter. SUNRISERS HAVE WON!

19.6 B Kumar to I Abdulla, FOUR, 144.08 km/h full length on leg stump.

Just a single to backward point. Warner's doing a jig!

19.5 B Kumar to S Baby, one run, 144.42 km/h full toss outside off stump.

Beautifully bowled and it's just a leg bye!

19.4 B Kumar to I Abdulla, 1 leg bye.

WHAT A YORKER! AND WHAT A BULLSEYE! Caps locks is definitely worthy for that moment! They look to steal a single but Jordan is a mile out!

19.3 B Kumar to S Baby, WICKET!!! C Jordan is out run out (Naman Ojha), 141.37 km/h full toss on leg stump.

In the gap but it's only 2. 15 off 4

19.2 B Kumar to S Baby, two runs, 135.52 km/h full toss just outside off stump.

Full toss hit to long on but it's just a single. Baby time!

Six! Launched over long on. This script is ridiculous! RCB are on the life support machine but they refuse for the doctors to turn it off!

18.6 Mustafizur Rahman to S Baby, SIX, 140.95 km/h full length just outside off stump.

Full toss and superb stop by Warner keeps it to two

18.5 Mustafizur Rahman to S Baby, two runs, 139.52 km/h full toss on middle stump.

Appeal for LBW but that's going massively down leg. Leg bye though. 26 off 8

18.4 Mustafizur Rahman to C Jordan, 1 leg bye.

Close! Swing and a miss. Precious dot!

18.3 Mustafizur Rahman to C Jordan, no run, 121.68 km/h good length just outside off stump.

Dropped! Sran's put down Jordan at deep cover! This could be massive!

18.2 Mustafizur Rahman to C Jordan, two runs, 129.65 km/h good length just outside off stump.

Wicket! Binny's not going to be the hero! Was too busy looking where the fielder was and didn't scurry back for the second!

18.1 Mustafizur Rahman to S Binny, WICKET!!! S Baby is out run out (Deepak Hooda), 134.64 km/h full length just outside off stump.
End of Over 18 - 7 runs RCB 179/5
Sachin Baby7* (5b 1x4)
Stuart Binny*8* (6b 1x6)

Four! Cheeky reverse paddle gives RCB hope!

17.6 B Kumar to S Baby, FOUR, 136.84 km/h full toss just outside off stump.

Tries the lap but it's just a leg bye. 34 off 13. MASSIVE final ball coming up

17.5 B Kumar to S Binny, 1 leg bye.
