Final, Mumbai

The night will be forever remembered for that insane hundred from Shane Watson. He took a little while to get going, but my, my, once he did he punished the SRH bowlers. Dhoni's team have been well deserved of the title and have played some incredible cricket throughout the tournament. We promised a spectacular final and we got that and more, utterly bonkers striking from both teams. A star in Rashid Khan has been born for SRH and Williamson has been a master with the willow with over 700 IPL runs this season. They couldn't get over the line tonight but they will be back that is for sure! An incredible conclusion to the tournament and we would like to say a huge thanks to you all for following every ball with us. It has been a pleasure, see you next year cricket lovers!

MVP: Sunil Narine

MoM: Shane Watson

Dhoni: "I think by the time you reach the finals everyone knows what they need to do. If someone is finding it difficult, there is no reason that someone coming in after won't also find it difficult. I thought it was a very good batting effort, at the start we may have thought we needed to get going, but we knew we had the fire power at the back end of the innings to catch up. It is difficult to recall the previous wins, but a lot of people talk about facts, but all that matters is about what is going on on the field. It is the fitness aspect rather than the age of the players, you have to be fit and energized on the pitch and age is just a number. I have no plans to celebrate, we are going to Chennai tomorrow to meet the fans and the people close to the team. We will have some fun in the evening at the hotel and celebrate this"

Williamson: "We thought it would be a competitive total. For the large part of the game we were going okay, but fair play to Watson getting 120 not out. For a large part of it we played a lot of cricket, today it wasn't to be and CSK are deserved winners. It was a great season for us and the side fought hard and showed a lot, a shame not to get over the line but there is a lot of positives."

Harbhajan: "This is brilliant, the way we came out and chased the runs. It was great to see Shane Watson, once you have a set batsmen in anything is possible at this ground"

Jadeja: "It is good to be part of the Champion team. We were playing as a team no matter if we were winning or losing. It is great for us to come back after 2 years and win again"

Bravo: "This has been a great tournament and this is a special moment, to come back after two years. We were able to stay focused and win the title. I am very happy for the team, this is what playing cricket is all about. We always said that experience would get the better of youth. Watson batted on one leg and he got us through today"
